My son is having the following tests done this week before we start the

diet.

Great Plains Lab

1) measurement of niks immune response to G & C

peptide testing

2) Combo test for organic uric acid and a stool analysis test for

yeast

3) Food intolerance test to 92 different things especially C & G

Specialty Labs

1) Anti-MBP test #1056

2) Anti-neuron filament protein antibodies test # 1052

I am really not suer what some of these tests will tell me but Karyns

book suggested them to be done before starting the diet.

I am also questioning if I should have the Mercury test done on Nik also,

I'm not sure on this one.

I am calling my insurance company today to see if they will cover any of

these tests. Is your insurance company going to cover the stool test?

I am also calling SSI today, any help I can get.

If I had to pick, I would lose the Specialty Labs tests and swap for

Mercury.
