Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I just gave myself my second injection, did it with the nurse last week so this was the first time on my own. I was supposed to get the autoinject but the pharmacy only had the pre-filled syringes so that's what I am using, I can go to the autoinject when this runs out (2 more shots) if I want to but so far this isn't bad. Although my hands are kind of shaky so I may need to go to autoinject. My question is on pulling back the plunger to make sure I didn't go into a vein. When I try to pull back on the plunger it feels like it doesn't even move. When I did it last week at the nurses office she said it moved and was fine so go ahead and give the shot. When I did it just now it seemed like the plunger was just stuck in place but maybe I just wasn't pulling hard enough? My husband said if I was in a vein that the plunger would have pulled back easier and blood would have come into the needle, is this right? How do those of you who use the manual syringe handle this? And what happens if you do inject Enbrel into a vein? Thank you in advance, PJ
