Guest guest
Taken from their site: AMPYRA can cause seizures. Your chance of having a seizure is higher if you take too much AMPYRA or if you have kidney problems. Before taking AMPYRA tell your doctor if you have kidney problems. Stop taking AMPYRA and call your doctor right away if you have a seizure while taking AMPYRA. AMPYRA may cause serious side effects, including kidney or bladder infections. The most common side effects of AMPYRA include: urinary tract infection; trouble sleeping (insomnia); dizziness; headache; nausea; weakness; back pain; problems with balance; multiple sclerosis relapse; burning, tingling or itching of your skin; irritation in your nose and throat; constipation; indigestion; pain in your throat. Not a list of side effects I want to add. Although it sounds, for the most part, that we have most of them already. And the powers that be say CCSVI treatment is dangerous! Janet talking about " Ampyra " , it was just recently > approved by FDA after a long fight for this smaller irish-jewish pharm.
Guest guest
, tarantula - WOW! Is my husband going to bite me know, oh no wait, that would be the female-haha! Crazy ingredient for sure! Anyway, we already talked to the neuro this morning and he signed up for it so to speak. Will let you know how it goes. Our doc had a lady who was pretty much like a qudrophlegic, she just started to use her arms again and trying to feed herself...I have heard though it doesn't work for all as usual. Some have no effects, some have some but then they go back to where they were. We shall see.  Happy Labor Day, Bianca ________________________________ To: mscured Sent: Thu, September 2, 2010 7:07:13 PM Subject: Re: 4-aminopyridine  Thanks Bianca, 4-AP/Ampyra is the drug to whch I am referring. It hadn't been registered yet in some of the sites that I looked into. It was brought to my attention by a man that I know and I wanted some feedback so that I had something to rebut him with! I'm not a drug advocate but I'm trying to keep an open mind. I'm not walking at all, not even standing and if there is a chance that there is something to reverse that, I want to know more about it! Let us know if your man ever uses it and what effects it has on him (good and/or bad). And by the way, one of the active ingredients is tarantula venom! > > , sounds almost like you are talking about " Ampyra " , it was just >recently > > approved by FDA after a long fight for this smaller irish-jewish pharm.
