Pain and still waiting

I haven't updated recently as I've been trying to fight a cold, that now may

have gone into pneumonia. I have seen my rheumy again, and with further testing

my liver numbers are still slightly high. He's afraid to start me on anything

stronger than the plaquenil. But after 6 weeks on it, I don't feel any

difference at all. In fact my pain is getting worse.

My knees got really bad when I first got this cold/virus and I could barely walk

for about two weeks. They are somewhat better now ( I can bend them again), but

had to have chest x-rays yesterday because the cough has gotten worse and they

suspect pneumonia. I'm exhausted, lost my appetite and honestly at this

point....depressed.

I still don't have any answers on my other health problems, and with the pain

I'm in, my blood pressure is even higher than normal (140/100 and higher on

three bp meds!) The rheumy did give me Norco for pain...and it helps slightly,

but I can't drive when I'm on it, so no taking it during the day as I have kids

to get to and from school. Besides the fact that I don't like taking such strong

pain meds.

Sorry to sound like I'm whining...I'm just frustrated. I've been a single mom

for over 11 years, use to run my own business, could go and go and go on 5-6

hours of sleep a night and do ten things at once. And lately...its a chore just

to get out of bed in the morning.
