Guest guest
Ter...anytime. My info is all on the database. Mama-Sher, age 69. IPF 3-06, OR. Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Sher....... Hi Buddy, I didn't mean to mislead you! It's not without anesthesia, just "General"! In general, they intubate you and give you a paralytic drug. They feel that way your muscles can not jerk during the procedure. They will give me a block and I won't feel anything from the chest down and a light drug that will put me to sleep, but NO intubation. When they do that, they have to breath for you with a machine and my fear is I may never get off it! Believe me, I'd rather be dead. As far as my kids, they will do anything I ask, my problem is, I HATE to ask. I fight my independent nature every day. My knees are so far gone now, the Dr can't understand how I'm walking at all. I will fight like hell to get my ability to walk back. I have gained 48 lbs since January from this wonderful Prednisone. Without walking, I'll never loose it. I got my Dr to take me off AdVair and I'm down to 2.5mg of the pred and if there is no change, I'll be off it completely in a few weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I had my hip done, I was walking without a cane in 1 week and driving in 2. In Three I was back out selling cars, so I'm pretty tough and heal fast. Just keep praying for me and I'll do my best!
