I learn many new things about this dreadful disease. Would anyone have trouble with exema or psorisis. I have it on my palms and the soles of my feet. It is so painful red sometimes. I been to a dermatolgist. I seem to know more about it than him. It's not a fungus, I already been through that. The creams the doctor gave me burns when it's inflamed. I am thinking its an allergic reaction to my laundry detergent My palms is not bad like my soles of my feet. I will see my primary doctor the 22, Hope he can help me with a diff cream. Would RA have something to do with it?. Clora

Guest guest
Hi Clora: So sorry to read that you have Psorisis. I hope you can get some better meds. to give you some much needed relief. My daughter has suffered with Exema since birth. She has it really bad. Her Dermatologist is from Children's Hosp. in Boston, and she has been seeing him for 40 years. Her skin is very delicate, so she goes through many skin meds. to find the one that works well for her. I know she has a special RX for cortisone creme ( she can't use ointments) and that is the only one that works well for her. At times she is on a Medrol Pack, ( steroids ) to get her skin calmed down. Wishing you relief soon, and that your feet start to heal. What a terrible place to get it. It must be agony for you to walk. Rest when you can, and wishing you better days ahead. You need them!! Hugs, Barbara > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~Tawny, a. Everyone......................... > > > Tawy;.. Guest guest
Clora, Sorry to hear you have psoriasis. I know it must be very painful. My hubby also has it, so I know its hard to manage. He was also seeing a dermatologist, but now just buys products OTC. I have not heard it being related to RA, I hope someone can answer that for you. I'm sure your gp doctor can help you find a med to help you. Take care, and good luck, Tawny > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~Tawny, a. Everyone......................... > > > Tawy;.. Guest guest
Hi...I have Psoriatic Arthritis, along with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Though there are similarites between the two, my rheumy decided I had both. When the Psoriasis is flaring there is a lot of pain from the areas of skin that get scaly and/or raw. For me, what has helped the most is the combination of weekly injections of both Humira and Methotrexate. If ever I have to be off Humira for any reason, the first symptoms I usually have within a week or so are areas of my skin that begin to crack, break open, get raw and scaly. No fun. My heart goes out to you. If I can help let me know. Cheryle, in Oregon
