Guest guest
Great to hear from you, !! and especially the good news! You're a courageous man, doing that treatment 3 times. I pray you continue undetectable, you've given that dragon a good run for his money!! Glad you found day work, too. As I recall you lost your job and had to settle for a jot that wasn't quite equal to what you had lost. Are you in a job better suited for you? Good luck and keep coming back!! -dz- <ralexan@...> wrote: Hi everybody As most of you old timers here know I haven't been on in quite a long time. I was working nights for the last year and a half and didn't have time for the computer. All I could do was eat sleep and work. Luckily with the help of my doctor I was able to transfer to a job that is days only. I just completed my third round of treatments at the end of April. Results virus undetected. I hope that it stays that way this time. If not will have to continue treatment for another six months. Well that is about all for now. I hope to be on much more in the future. Does she have a hamper in her room so when she undresses she can put the clothing right in, or does she have to bring it across the house? Guest guest
Hi sweet girl. I knew you weren't posting much and thought you must be sick again. I was so sorry to read how ill you have been. I swear when it rains, it pours on us with RA. I was glad to read you have a very aggressive Dr. to treat you. Those top drugs will do the job for you, and I hope you will feel so much better soon. I am sorry I have not written sooner to you. I have been so consumed with pain, I can hardly function at all. I was so sorry to read that you are having on going issues with your feet and nodules. I had no idea just how painful these nodules can become. Yikes, you have had to have them removed that many times! I did not know they become ongoing issues. Today they are unbearable for me. I am living on pain meds. but lately it is like eating a gumdrop.....no working so good anymore. I had blood work done for my Rheumy yesterday, and I bet I am flaring. I hope not but this pain is brutal.  I bet you are enjoying this better weather. I sure am. Each day has been 75-82, dry, breezy and so sunny. It feels wonderful. I am dying to get into the pool, but it needs to be a little warmer for me. My feet could not stand cold water!!!  Please take care and know my thoughts and prayers are with you. So nice to hear from you today. I know how it is when you are sick, in pain, and don't feel up to being on line. Get lots of rest. Talk soon. Wishing you better days ahead, and pain free days as well.  Love and hugs,  Barbara From: <ltdavis_jrdavis@...> Subject: [ ] Hi to everyone " RA Support Group " < > Date: Tuesday, April 20, 2010, 3:09 PM  I haven't posted in a few weeks although I have read everyone's posts. I have been really sick - I started out with a bacterial infection in my blood and then as they were treating that, somehow I contracted MRSA - they believe from a cut on my arm (deep scratch from a playful pup!) aqnd shoot this superbug can be on the handles of the carts at the grocery store!  So, I've hopefully had my last IV today - more bloodwork on Thursday to make sure I've gotten rid of it. I've had a very aggressive doctor who put me directly on the top drugs - just real drugged feeling today but wanted to let everyone know that I have not dropped off the face of the earth.  And Barbara: I'm sorry about your foot!! I've had nodules in the arch of my right foot (fibroids - not RA) every year that have to be removed - 4 times now! So, I know the pain, etc. I am so sorry you are having to go thru this! I'm scheduled for my 5th removal in a couple of months.  Love to all - in SC
Guest guest
You R so sweet! Actuallythe fibroids are something I inherited from my dad. I'm actually lucky because mydad had to have his entire feet opened because his fibroids were huge. I mine have only been the size of a quarter but when it's on your arch - it sucks! Then you start limping then Ur hip & back start hurting! I actually can't wait to have my new nodule removed! My ortho doc makes sure I'm drugged really well Which helps. Plus going thru it SO many times I know what to excpect. Make sure they make u mark the nodule. Love & hugs! Guest guest
, I had no idea you could get Fibroids in your feet. That must have been a painful operation for your father.  You are so right about the painful feet, limping and favoring your foot. Pretty soon your whole body is out of sinc, hence, more pain and suffering. My feet are the bane of my existence. I really could scream with the pain of it all.  I can see why you want to get your foot done. Is it a fast recovery after the nodule is taken out? I have one on my left foot, but it is small and does not hurt yet. I hope it never does.  So nice to hear from you as I have missed our chatting.  I hope you feel better soon. We all need a break from pain and suffering. Rest often and stay off those feet!! Who knew feet could hurt so badly!!!  Love and hugs,  Barbara Rheumy yesterday, and I bet I am flaring. I hope not but this pain is brutal.
Guest guest
Don't know if I replied or not but when I have had these surgeries - I have had to wear a boot thing for 2 weeks. I have issues with my shoulders so I cant use crutches so the boot thing is a pain!
