Guest guest
Hi everyone, My husband has MS and we found out very recently that one of his heart valves does not function properly. He was tested for ccsvi, found that the flow to his head is weak but no blockage. We live in Greece, Europe and the doctors here are not well informed regarding the ccsvi procedure. I was wondering whether any of you has ever read anything connecting a damaged heart valve and ccsvi. Many thanks. Marlena
Guest guest
Hi Marlena No, I haven't heard anything specifically about faulty heart valves and CCSVI - there does seem a connection though. My jugulars had malformed valves, so it does all back up the venous irregularity theory. I had heard something of a doctor in Greece who was well thought of in relation to CCSVI. I will find out more and report back as soon as I can. Leve it with me. 'What we do in life, echoes through eternity.' Guest guest
Thank you so much for your answer! Thank you for your support, it gets quite lonely sometimes in this country. The problem is that my husband was checked by a vascular somethingdoctor, here in Athens, who claims that he is familiar with Dr. Zamboni's procedure but he was found negative as far as the blockages are concerned. He did found a very weak flow to one of his veins that lead to his head but nevertheless he said that Panagiotis (my husband) doesn't meet the criteria since he has zero blockages. We were considering going to a clinic abroad to check again but we are not sure whether it is worth it since we are going to spend our only savings money. The doctor's name was liassis. Forgive my long e-mail and my English mistakes. Thanks again! ________________________________ To: MSCured <mscured > Sent: Thu, January 27, 2011 11:36:33 PM Subject: RE: ccsvi + heart valve  Hi Marlena No, I haven't heard anything specifically about faulty heart valves and CCSVI - there does seem a connection though.
