Hi Mike

Good question and nice to meet you!! :)

I had a car accident which ruptured my inner ear in '02 - I had extreme vertigo

for quite some time after that. I was operated on after about a year and whilst

it seemed to fix it a bit, my balance was never the same again......especially

since diagnosis with 'MS' in '06.

In '04 I arrived in the UK from Australia and have flown back and forth many

times since. I was concerned that with my balance and vertigo issues that I

would've had some issues, but I haven't thus far! :) *knocks on wooden coffee

Hi everyone I've been a member for a few years but just watch and listen. This

is the first time I've posted to ask a question. I have PPMS and so far been

able to keep at bay with an all natural and BB Diet. I am going on vaction for

the first time since I was dx in 2007 and I'm wondering has anyone had any bad

experiences with the change in pressure while flying as my vertigo makes random

appearences as well as a feeling of increased pressure in my head.

Hi Mike,

I am also PPMS, 5 years now. I have been on two airplaine trips (4 flights)

since diagnosis and did not have any problems with change in pressure. I had

been concerned about that as well, especially as in general I sometimes have cog

fog issues, sinus issues, clicking in the ears, and odd pressure in the brain.

But none of this was a problem on the 4 flights. The bigger problem was trying

to stay on a good diet while traveling.
