Hi I just wanted to give an update, running up to the LDN Awareness Week and Birmingham Conference. If you have any ideas or suggestions we would like to hear them. 1. A big thank you to all of you that took part in the LDN Poll online and all of you those choose to answer the questions offline, we have 5 days left if you haven?t taken part yet please go to http://ldnurl.info/poll or answer the 9 questions below and email them back to me. Every vote counts even if you don?t think LDN works for you. A: Where did you hear about LDN? 1 From a fellow sufferer 2 In the media 3 Research on the internet 4 My doctor 5 Other B: How much time passed between you hearing about LDN and starting to use it? I started immediately 1 Less than a month 2 1? 6 months 3 6 ? 12 months 4 More than a year C: After you heard about LDN what prompted you to use it? 1 I waited until I had researched it for myself 2 I found out more about other sufferers 3 I felt there was no other alternative 4 My family persuaded/friends me to use it 5 My doctor recommended it D: How soon did you feel the benefits of LDN? 1 Within days 2 Around a week 3 Around a month 4 About a year 5 I did not E: Would you recommend LDN to other sufferers? 1 Absolutely 2 Yes, but only after they consulted a doctor 3 Yes ? but only as a suggestion. They have to make their own minds up 4 No ? they can find out about it themselves 5 Never F: How much has taking LDN improved the quality of your life (on a scale of 1 ? 20 where 1 = not at all and 20 = my life has been transformed completely, I have never been happier) Enter Your Number Here? G: Are you worried about the unknown - for example, Long term side effects of taking LDN 1 No 2 Couldn?t care less ? I am living for now 3 I would rather embrace the unknown ? the risk is worth it 4 I am concerned 5 I am very worried H: UK Users - Do you have a private or NHS prescription? 1 Yes 2 No 3 I live outside of the UK I. Do you think the UK government is doing enough to ensure LDN is available to those who need it . 1 It is criminal in its neglect of its duty to make LDN widely available 2 It will never do enough ? it?s all about money 3 It is not its role to do this ? It?s all about money 4 It should leave this alone and not interfere 5 I don?t know Give a brief summary of how your life changed after taking LDN 3. You can help raise awareness during the International Awareness Week 18th ? 23rd October with LDN pins, key rings, ribbons, polo shirts, wristbands and not forgetting the LDN Mascot Lamb and car stickers http://ldnurl.info/shop. 4. Request for help from everyone taking LDN???. LDN Questionnaire for Case Studies ? Please email me your replies The benefit of providing information will enable stronger political pressure to be put in place. Age and Gender. Condition. Age diagnosed. Any other medication either before LDN or as well as. Past medical history e.g. Broken limbs, accidents and hospitalisation, rheumatic fever, TB and so on. Family History ? any disease / disorders within close family members Provide a brief outline: Currently - how does the disease affect you? Historically - Before LDN how did the disease affect you? Single case studies provide: A clear demonstrable picture of action/benefit gained. Is accepted as, and may be presented as useful anecdotal evidence. Whereby stories, and testimonials carry less weight. Case Studies will be listed anonymously as a case study number not by name.
