Jane....I've been reading your posts to others so I know about the yummy pancakes. "Back in the day" I used Bisquick for pancakes and they are good. Makes yummy dumplings too.

I can 'hear' your pleasure at being there w/ !

I'm praying God will bless her w/ a good job. She will find something eventually but it's too bad it can't be in her field. I wonder if potential employers think she is 'over-qualified' for certain jobs? I've had that experience far to often and finally struck out on my own.

I remember one job search....long time....lots of interviews, no hires...out every day at 8AM. On the last interview, I was so exasperated I told the manager, "I am a good employee and I'm good at what I do. If I have MORE experience than you need, well goodie for me. If I have ENOUGH experience for this job then you should hire me!". He did!

I also understand the "supporting your baby". I don't think our kids ever grow up in our minds/hearts. We would have thousands/thousands of dollars if we didn't have 'babies' to support/help. But we'd do it again I know.

Pass along to my eye is on her too and give her a big Mama-hug! Then she can give you one back.

Mama-Sher: I am posting on 's laptop and sometimes while I am typing the cursor will jump somewhere else while I am typing in another place and it is so frustrating but I do want to talk to all my air friends today. is still in the shower so I am still on this computer. Mama-Sher, is such a good cook. Last night she made pancakes for me and they were sooo much better than mine. I sat on the sofa while she made them so i don't know her secret. It was the best Bisquick pancakes I have ever had. Also, while she is in the shower, I am hoping her phone will ring. This girl needs a job! Hope you are doing well today. Bruce: By being with yesterday, because of me, she had the first interview at Target, which is so close to her apt. Now we are waiting on the second interview, which could be after 2:30 this afternoon. I want to ask you a question: How and Why did you choose Chicago over Atlanta? I got Joe in with Tamra & Dr. . I was just wondering about that. And since I have lived most of my life in Georgia we are experts at driving to and from ATL. Eddie drives there for his work all the time, sometimes twice a day. The best : after 9:am and get out of there before 3 pm. So there! I am getting tired of this cursor jumping around. Got to go. Take care of yourself today and don't over do. Toodles! I've driven in Dallas. Wow! And that was 30 years ago.

We have horrendous traffic problems around the Portland area too. Even the outlaying areas are clogged. Hurry hurry hurry hurry.

I'm sure you will be careful on your trip!

What a neat way to break in your new car!! Other people will "give you a signal" to move faster since you can only drive 55 in a new car.......or is that still the case? When we bought our Hyundai 2 years ago cars zoomed around us on both sides! We ignored 'the signal'.
