Ken,

I live in a very cold area - what really helps me is my electric mattress

cover that keeps me very warm all night. It has a 10 hour automatic shut

off and works better than my electric blanket did. I set it on high before

I go to bed - bed is toasty - than I lower it to my desirable setting and I

sleep warm and comfy all night. We cannot run the heat as high too because

of the expense - we are on propane and it is pricey to run the heater. The

heated mattress pads come in many different models - they have some with

zone heating to make the areas where you need most heat hotter. I got mine

at JC Penney's - they have several ones all at very reasonable prices.

I've attached the link for you to see - perhaps you can get an idea and see

who sells it in your area. During the day - there are battery heated socks

and gloves that are fairly inexpensive and it really helps keep your hands

and feet warm. You can get these a most sporting good places like Cabela's

or on line. They run around 19.99...they are worth it. They might be

called wader socks in some parts.

I would rather live my life as if there is a God,

And die to find out there isn't, than live my life

As if there isn't, and die to find out there is.
