Guest guest
Janet Orchard asked me what do I attribute my improved balance to. I really don't know. I've been a klutz all of my life, so it's like a miracle from above and I do give thanks everyday about my improvements. One thing I think about in regard to my balance is that I have moved to a colder climate 1 1/2 years ago, so I am less plagued by the heat that I suffered from in Texas. I am feeling a lot more freedom with winter weather and being out in it often feels better than being inside someplace heated. (I know I am a little weird like that.) Still, even before ms and since childhood, I was a klutz and walking around when it gets icy has been a concern of mine, thinking it would be more falling than usual for me. Instead I marvel every time I have slid with grace on some ice and still standing. Cheylenna PJ
Guest guest
Another thing that may or may not have to do with it is the Salonpas that I have been using on my neck. (They reduce pain and inflammation topically) I use them other places too, but I've been placing them on my neck since 2002. More recently, as I read about CCSVI, I really wonder how much this has had to do with my improvement. I often used to also have a lot of problems with spasticity in my neck area under my ear that would affect my hearing. I haven't had that happen in a long time either.
