mtx - dosage & side ffects??

ok- my rhuemy is wanting me to take mtx- 3 tabs a week- very small dosage i

guess- but i've been following the side ffects on the list and read them in the

literature- i cannot afford to be sick for days at a time from the meds- and i'd

really rather not lose my hair jsut yet if i dont ahve to

i am on prednisone- 5 meg one day 10 mg the enxt - it seems to help a lot- i

take a pepcid everyday to counteract the stomach trouble from taking the pred-

and im on sulfisalizine 2 tabs am & pm - thats it-

i ahve a flare at least every month, but i wonder if that would subside with

better balance of activity and rest-

anyway i see the dr on fri & just wondered what people's experiences were with

the smaller dose-
