Guest guest
, I would recommend your friend's son see a doctor who is knowledgeable in viral infections, or more specifically a Chronic Fatigue doctor. Titers are usually done for Epstein-Barr, which is commonly the viral indicator for Mono. Once you have been exposure to a virus like Epstein-Barr, it will always be positive in your blood. There are Igg and Igm's which show past and current infection. I don't really understand how it is interpreted. For example; a 1:160 Titer indicates a recent, primary or reactivated infection. All the titer indicates is that there is an activated infection. We all have been exposed to these herpes viruses. Unfortunately your friend's child needs support from a doctor who understands these kind of viruses, and can offer some support. I know of a great doctor in Houston, but none in Louisiana. You may want to check out the Co-cure.org website for a doctor in your state. If I can be of any help, please e-mail me. > > > > > > > > > Hi- What is an 1:60 IgG classified as? High? Low?
