Guest guest
Hi everyone! :-) I am Meghan from California!(bay area) I was in the process of having bypass surgery with Kaiser, but changed jobs and lost Kaiser coverage. I am now jumping through the PPO hoops (I hear it's much easier than Kaiser:P) I am going back and forth between the LAP band procedure and bypass. I am hoping that reading the postings, and asking a few questions of my own, will help me make that decision. So thanks in advance for all of your help! -Meghan
Guest guest
Hi Meghan! I think it's a good thing that you no longer have Kaiser. From what I hear, it's a pain in the ass to have WLS covered by them. Welcome and good luck! Guest guest
Meghan- Everyone has to make their own decision. Te only reason I am going bypass vs lapband is that I have kidney problems and the lapband would interfere with the dialysis i will need later. Best of luck.
