I think MS and thyroid problems are connected in fact most disease is caused by environmental toxins (IMO). I developed hypothyroid in the last few years but looking back I had symptoms of hypo before I was diagnosed with MS! There is a (long)file here that links the two (A different look at MS) and it might help you to see some connections that you have or don't have. I'm glad you beat the cancer. Guest guest Posted March 1, 2011 Report Share Posted March 1, 2011 I and my 21 year old nephew have MS, so seems to run in my family. I have lesions on the brain. I was actually told I have MS in my 20s but I refused to believe it, so I never was tested then. The Neurologist told me, I have had it a very long time, it finally explained my symptom's *was beginning to think I was nuts* <grin> I do have many problems as result of the MS, beginning Foot drop, gastroparesis, lost my sigmoid colon, Bowel px,can be emotional,and have sereve sleeping px,neuropathic pain & Muscle spasticity. I have empathy for all suffering this disease and others! (I was not sure what you needed, so gave ya a brief hx) I am open to any other needed answers <G> Thank you and Many Blessings / Tink Please reply to this message with a short introduction.
