I've managed, lately, to eliminate this through changes in skin care and diet. First thing I'd advise: drink lots and lots of cold or ice water, especially if you're still drinking coffee. Try not to drink alcohol, but if you do, stick to something like beer and drink water before, after, and in between. And yes, I believe triggers worsen rosacea, because flareups seem to weaken the vessels more each time. I've used the cea-LTD disks, but they were a bit harsh for me. I am now looking at the Sher system, but I already do a lot of the things that Helen Sher recommends such as rinsing 20 times from a full basin of tepid to warm water when washing my face, then 10 more times from the tap. She also recommends things like Evening Primrose Oil (taken by capsule) which helps me very much. I also found a Primrose night cream which has been very soothing. I've lately tried the zinc diaper creme at night with good results, and that's something that might really help protect your skin from the cold. Good luck to you. Guest guest
Thank you for kind replies. I would have to choose and order one of the medications like rosacea-ltd or sher system. A lot is spoken here about avoiding triggers. But can rosacea be actually healed by avoiding triggers? And do triggers actaully may rosacea worse? Of corse, if I drink hot coffee, my face becomes a bit more red, but in 20 minutes, it calms down again. My skin was itching awhile ago, but now it doesn't. Is itching a well-known symptom? Also, I've used Excell-A3 (guess it's from Loreal), on one part of my face, and it has helped a little bit. Recently, I've noticed that it contais AHA. How AHA acts on cea? Sincerely, Igor ------------------------------------------------------------------------
