>>>THIS is the major problem in my eyes with WLS. " THE DOCTORS DO NOT HAVE

A

CLUE WHAT CAUSES....<<<

BUT, don't you think that this is true in MOST callings? I wish docs were

all educated/experienced equally SOMETIMES. But then when I hear what SOME

docs do, I'm glad mine is doing his thing over here this way.

There are some who don't even think a surgery such as mine should exist, but

I'm glad my doc does it. But for some, it would NOT be the right one. So,

for them, good their docs think along a different line.

It would be great if they all got educated on post-op nutrition, but then,

how would they teach each other if they had it equally. The only reason our

doc no longer does a disruptible staple line because one of the other docs

sort of shrugged and said, " So, don't do 'em so they disrupt " . So, hey,

they learn from each other. Or some do. Some are just " right " and wont'

learn to do anything new. I forgot them on my list!

Thanks,

,

What is this disruptible staple line you are

mentioning? You said my doc does them, right? Are some

docs intentionally making them disruptible, or do they

not know better?

Thanks,

Sharon

You forgot one category: the docs (like mine) who care so much about their

patients that they'll do anything, ask anything, learn anything--then eat

crow!--to save their lives....but then I guess I'm a LITTLE biased.
