Guest guest
hey all, am dealing with some pretty horrendous spasticity right now, and am doing everything i can to get over it, as it's actually tearing up my muscles and ligaments. one of the things i'm doing is extra mineral supps--calcium, magnesium and zinc as well as extra D and mag oil twice a day. problem is, on the days i do this, i seem to be getting charlie horses on top of the spasms and tremors--but not when i don't. any ideas why this is happening? have always had crazy absorption issues where i can't absorb calcium and magnesium, but i thought the d would help--and it doesn't really make sense that it would have the opposite effect. also, the docs are doing their thing they do with me every two years where they suddenly yelp, hey, wait!! you don't have any lesions--you CAN'T have MS! i shall find out what you do have and make a name for myself! and then they test me for a bunch of stuff and then get bored and forget aboutit. this has happened three times already. any suggestions for a) what i do have, and how to get them to be a bit more tenacious about getting to the bottom of this? much love and good health to you all, aviva
