hey all,

am dealing with some pretty horrendous spasticity right now, and am doing

everything i can to get over it, as it's actually tearing up my muscles and

ligaments. one of the things i'm doing is extra mineral supps--calcium,

magnesium and zinc as well as extra D and mag oil twice a day. problem is, on

the days i do this, i seem to be getting charlie horses on top of the spasms and

tremors--but not when i don't.

any ideas why this is happening? have always had crazy absorption issues where i

can't absorb calcium and magnesium, but i thought the d would help--and it

doesn't really make sense that it would have the opposite effect.

also, the docs are doing their thing they do with me every two years where they

suddenly yelp, hey, wait!! you don't have any lesions--you CAN'T have MS! i

shall find out what you do have and make a name for myself! and then they test

me for a bunch of stuff and then get bored and forget aboutit. this has happened

three times already. any suggestions for a) what i do have, and B) how to get

them to be a bit more tenacious about getting to the bottom of this?

much love and good health to you all,

aviva

hi aviva - supplements and vitamins can have a toxic effect on the body and can

exasapate symptoms

me ms p/p all im my legs ie stiffness, spasms, neuro pain, tremors, cramps etc

and no amount of the above helped and i tried this for 3 months

the only + was LDN that gives you a feel-good factor with the holistic add-on

plus i take baclofen but you must get the dose right

good luck/peter [london]
