Guest guest
Hi Joan...we're all in the same boat. This is a good place to talk about what's going on and getting support. we'll all have to take the good with the bad, the bad with the sad and the happy with the crappy. I was dx'd with ra back in 1983 and have really tried quite a number of meds. Like I mentioned, enbrel and prednisone works the best for me.. and I hope it keeps working but I've been on it since 2005. Don't give up.....maybe talk to your dr about trying something else. I felt like you did many years ago and was just miserable. It's always trial and error...and eventually something may work. There are so many newer treatrments now. I feel blessed that I wasn't dx'd during my grandparents day and before. During those times, it seemed like all you could do is suffer with it and take pain meds. Now there are things that do work. Talk to your rheumy...see what he can do to help you. Don't give up....there is always hope. I love the blog. Take care...a http://nieniedialogues.blogspot.com/ Joan in Fair Oaks
