Hi Chenille,

Instead of trying to directly treat MS-related symptoms, I think your wisest

course of action would be to employ a comprehensive approach that includes a

diet low in saturated fat (like the Best Bet Diet), exercise, detoxification, a

low stress lifestyle, food supplements, glyconutrients, Low Dose Naltrexone

(LDN), and a host of other things that some MSers have found very helpful.

Hi Dudley,

I have been doing most of the list you suggest.  I however have had a problem

gaining a physician when health coverage is so expensive.  Because of this

reason and the fact that when I was seen through a city clinic ( they wanted to

put me on drugs) I have been stuck.  LDN as I have read can only be prescribed

through a physician.  Glyconutrients, if you know of a company that uses a

dairy and soy free brand I would appreciate the source.  I have thought of

Bovine Colostrum as something to bring into my diet as well, if you have any

info on how that can be helpful I again would appreciate it.  I had my first

experience w/ MS when I was 22 and my second at 32, I teach yoga have many food

allergies and have had them since I was a child so I was always aware of what I

can and can not put into my body as far as food.  I have tried the chroella,

etc.  I have been reading and on this sight for a year now and would just

really like a bit more input as

far as a suggestion to my tingling hands, it at times can get to me.

Thank you,

Chenille

if you go on the LDN email group, I am sure somebody will help you

get some LDN without a prescription. I personally dont have a prescription

and pay 10 cents a dose. I found out how to do this through some research.

Hi

You can do colonics in conjunction but that wont be enough.

When it comes to cleansing you start

* colon

* liver

* kidney

* bloodIf you fast during this process, goes much faster. Not necessary,

though. I was in the process for 4 years of cleansing and fasting and once I

came to terms with putting it all together at the same time then that is when

RESULTS where finally achieved.

If you would like to read what I have done www.ginascorner.com and click on Book

or just google my name.

Make it a Great Day!

Chenille,

I agree completely that a comprehensive approach is best. For me, the MS Diet

by Dr. Swank worked best. Read his book. Glyconutrients did not work for me,

and gave me headaches. LDN made me feel a little better mentally, but did not

help any of my physical disabilities. Stress releif and meditation have been

great for me.

You need to find out what works best for you. It's always best to work with a

doctor who has similar beleifs and is willing to work with you, and who knows

when to have tests and what to test for.

Hi ,

If you follow the Best Bet Diet and take LDN, colloidal silver, and colloidal

gold, it will probably cost you between $100 and $150 per month, depending on

whether you make you own LDN and colloidal silver, and where you buy the

colloidal gold and the recommended food supplements.

Do most of you take glyconutrients and colodial silver and gold? I keep

hearing people mention them but they aren`t on Ashton Embrys list.
