Guest guest
Robin- Please tell me more about this Sphinter of Oddi Dysfuntion. I cannot get info on this on either Mayo clinic site or Webmd site. I have Gerd. I also had my gall bladder removed last month due to chronic infection and stones. That did not change the pains I was having. My pain is located just under the sternum in dead center. I am frustrated beyond words. I cannot eat anything w/o pain. No antacids or vineagar ( as someone suggested I try ) relieves it. I am Diabetic and must eat several small meals a day. I dread food now- and that is certainly NOT normal for me! My Gastro has done Endoscopy, ultrasound ( only on the right quadrant for gall bladder ), and even Coloscopy and has discharged me as his patient. I am plenty p***ed off about that as I am in no better condition than I was when I started. How is this Dysfunction diagnosed? What is it? I feel like I am grasping at straws here to figure this out. Thanks in advance-- in SC My pancreatitis was the result of Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction. I was taking
