Trying to settle within my goal weight with IE

I " m new to the website, and about 1.5 weeks into reading the book and trying to

apply it to

my life. I have gone up and down with weight in the past, and have frequently

gotten close

to the lower end of my range. Most recently I maintained being within 8 lbs for

several

years ostensibly " trying " to diet my way down where I really feel best. I

became frustrated,

and my weight crept back up a full 15 lbs. I worked with a nutritionist to get

10 lbs. off,

but became " rebellious " at the idea of tracking food and having to " report in "

with my logs.

I've secretly agreed with the IE program for years, and really want to get out

of the diet

mindset for good. I exercise, feel in the best shape of my life (though I have

weighed less),

and appear to be " normal " weight. It is just that I have a picture of my

" optimum weight "

that is hard to shake (as well as an investment in some clothing that I cannot

wear).

Is anyone else struggling with similar issues? I'd love to hear from you.
