Guest guest
I had varying levels of symptoms that come and go for about 3-4 years with a severe flare up about 9 months ago when I got all the tests and diagnosis. That was my first major episode. Fortunately I started the diet and treatment immediately. After about 3 months I really started feeling better. So, I have pretty much been symptom free for about 6 months. I don't know if I am just in remission but I think I will be ok for the long run. Have you had major GI issues along with your neurological symptoms? Watch the video on Youtube by Dr. Cordain. There are some interesting things in there about the key foods to avoid. Also, if you have GI issues you have to treat them. If you have a leaky gut and lots of foreign things are getting into your bloodstream then it will be difficult to boost your immune system. Good luck > > Hi , > I was curious how long you had MS symptoms, how long you have been > symptom free, and how long you have been on the BBD? > > I, unfortunately have had no remissions in 2 years but am trying very > hard to heal. > > >

I have had people suggest that I may just be in remission, but I shake my head emphatically. lol The key here is to compare how you feel now overall with the period before the flare-up and starting the diet. It's quite possible that I wouldn't have had another major attack by now anyways, but I know that I feel tremendously better overall than I did for many months before the initial episode of optic neuritis, yk? I may have " twinges " here and there due to eating something I shouldn't (usually inadvertently!), but I don't live in fear of having a major flare-up and that counts for a lot!
