Guest guest
Read, like, 30 pages of posts and came away somewhat frightened. I want to be healthy and I want to have a good relationship with food and I'm not going to get either result if I gain weight. I'd be okay with not really losing any weight, I'm okay where I'm at. I am hoping to hear from people who have been doing this a while. Are you physically healthier than you were? Is your doctor pleased? Are you fitter? More able? I want to still be climbing mountains and doing all the stuff I enjoy in 20 years. I want to be attractive to my mate. But by the same token, diets make me too crazy to enjoy my life, either. I need some hope. This seems like a big risk.
Guest guest
Not a big risk...if you eat in the parameters of hunger and satisfied, it will pour off...but you really have to obey your hunger signals. I was involved in a support group years ago, with same premise -- It poured off these women. I didn't " obey " that rule and it did not come off of me easily. I went for the " diet " approach and had quick fixes, but never fixed the emotional part of my eating...when you eat in the parameters of hunger and full, it leaves room for dealing with and healing the reasons we eat to begin with... Nothing will make you lose weight...not a diet, not IE if you are not obeying that " rule " -- don't eat unless you feel hunger pangs, and finish before you are stuffed...you will be amazed at how your body responds. Focus on you, and what you can do -- everybody will have a different story, and will focus on different things...for some it will " no dieting " -- For others it will be easier to truly go for it, and obey those God given signals, and your body will have no other choice but to shed...I've read it, I've heard it, and I've seen it work, and I'm ready to not be full... Hope this helps. Be blessed!
