Hi Terry and Aviva,

I am a former athlet of artistic gymnastic, I love exercising but my spare time

is very limited. Because I know that exercise is good for me, I decided to hire

a personal trainer. He used to come to my place twice/week for the last three

years and he has helped me a lot but the cost was very high. This summer, since

my health is at a very good level, I decided to substitute my personal trainer

with a home training machine and made a research. I had seen vibro trainers at

gyms and never thought that there are small and cheap versions for home use. I

tried one at an exhibition of gym equipment and I was amazed because after 5 min

of use, the next day my muscles felt tired. I found out that there are very

small and cheap models. The one I bought is " vibro plate V 280 " . You can see it

in

http://www.christinsport.gr/index.phppage=shop.browse & category_id=5 & option=com_v\

irtuemart & Itemid=16, the webpage of a chainstore of gym equipment in my country

(Greece). At that point, I  have to make clear that I have no connection with

the store of the firma, I am just a satisfied customer and provide this

information since I am asked.

Before buying the vibro plate, I had a short training at the store and I was

given a leaflet with recommended exercises. The principle is: The  muscles of

the part of your body you want to exercise must be fully contracted during

vibration. (If you just stand on the plate, you get nothing more than a relaxing

massage). There is a scale of vibration frequencies and you gradually raise the

frequency and the time of vibration. Most of the exercises have to do with legs

but there are quite a lot concerning waist, arms and shoulders. After one month

of use, I feel very strong and, because I am very thin, people can notice the

muscles of my legs and arms! Nobody had noticed this during the three years I

was exercising with the personal trainer. Exercising at high frequencies is very

hard, after 10 min I feel exhausted, but one can take it much easier. I hope

this informaion helps. In case you need more information, feel free to ask.

Good luck,

Katerina
