Guest guest
Hi Has anybody got any experience of RA and either over/underactive thyroid? What were the symptoms? My daughter is called an 'enigma' in the RA dept as her disease does not follow the normal course. She was diagnosed just a few weeks after delivering her first baby. HYPERthryoidism is common in these circumstances. Not sure that the thyroid blood tests are that reliable as they are not with me and I am underactive. She has lost a lot of weight too but managing to put it back slowly. Any help would be greatly appreciated as we find the consultants a waste of time and all they do is push toxic drugs at her. She has had more relief from food elimination/probiotics. Thankyou. Margaret
