Guest guest
True anyone can post on Wikipedia, however one has to go through an extensive processes first. They cannot go and just post. There are requirements and rules. For example, one has to post the article in a preview section where others can Critique it and corrections made by others. There are a lot of people that research this material as their name is published at the bottom. I started posting an article and it took so long to go through this process, I never finished - (which reminds me, I need to finish that). I think that Wikipedia is a good place to start to get a general idea, but if it is an important decision or for a paper - I would look at the references listed there. If you read the wikipedia article on MS it is quite accurate. I am sure there were many, many people that have added, deleted and changed it before it got published. I wouldn't dismiss it off the top because " anyone " can write it. Roe > > One word of warning about WIKIPEDIA...They do not research their > postings. In fact anyone can post to that website! Guest guest
Wikipedia spends a great deal of time and effort checking out each of the articles ascent to them, much the way that the PLM WebSite does, there are " professional " idiots/hackers who love nothing more than to enter into almost any website that they are given access to.
