I agree. Just wishful thinking I guess. Seriously. > > He gets weirder every day. > What's up? Is there anything we can help you threw with it? > > G I talked to his ped about it. He thinks Dillon is just fine and going through a phase. He's really crazy about Dillon. He said he's just a very smart kid with a lot of energy. He said my children were very " eclectic " and eccentric. (He says I'm eccentric with a type A personality, which, if you ask me, really means he thinks I'm a pushy nutcase). He just loves labels, so I'm sure he'd give Dillon one if he took me seriously about this. I hope it is " just a phase. " Dillon does the verbal stims, odd noises and he will get a word in his head -- the other day it was " nebula " -- he must have said it 500 times if he said it once. He said it in every voice and accent you can imagine. He gets " stuck " on a new word or new weird noise almost every day. The kid is driving me bonkers. Right now he's eating, barking and meowing. He gets up and runs around the room, makes rude noises and screams for no reason. Yesterday he was so hyper I was ready to choke him. When he's like that (very manic) he is silly beyond belief, turning everything into a joke. It's enough to make you crazy. When I got home from work today he was all weepy and depressed. Then, suddenly he's hyper again. Not like yesterday, but not all weepy either. He's very bright and he's a talented musician. He just recorded a CD of original music with his friend a. His best friend, a, is a very cute 13-year-old girl (she's a talented singer -- they've been performing music for us since Dillon was about 5). He's a ten-year-old boy. His dad says that's because he plays the guitar. I still think it's odd. He has guy friends too, but he'd much rather spend time with a. I'm thinking bipolar. I'm thinking tourette's. I'm thinking insane musical prodigy. I'm thinking nothing in my life is ever going to be simple.
