Update From Bonnie G About Jim & Myself

Hello dear family and friends, Wow, what a couple of weeks we have been through. I want to thank each of you for your prayers for the loss of my brother, my pneumonia and Jim's quad by-pass surgery. Needless to say I have not been on the computer but I wanted to thank each an everyone of you that have been fervently praying for us and/or wondering where I have been. Jim came through the quad heart by-pass surgery very well. Jim was moved from ICU yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon into his own room. There was NO DAMAGE to his heart, praise God! They are trying to stabilize his blood pressure and oxygen level right now. Jim will be in the hospital until Saturday or Sunday. Debbie and Kim, our daughters, left this morning to go back home to their families and Debbie will be coming back up on the day Jim is released from the hospital. Debbie is a personal trainer and a nutritionist and she went through our cupboards and freezer last night and took 4 big bags of food to the food pantry today. Says her mom and dad can't eat any of it. Debbie will be updating our refrigerator and freezer with heart healthy food when her daddy comes home from the hospital. The girls have been such a blessing to us both being with me through the funeral and Jims surgery and my pneumonia. I left the hospital yesterday and went back to the Dr. and they took more x-rays of my lungs and I still have some problems and my Dr put me on more powerful antibiotics and medication to boost my immune system as I have been going back and forth from the hospital to be with Jim and have not been taking care of myself. So again, I come to you asking for healing prayer for myself as well as Jim and traveling graces for Debbie and Kim returning back to their homes in Texas. I need to stay on LOA for a while as I don't have time to get on the computer right now. Thanks to each and everyone of you for keeping Jim and I in your fervent prayers. I miss each of you so very much and I am so over whelmed by your prayers and good wishes in my guestbook. I wish I could answer each of you for your thoughtfulness and prayers, but there is just no way right now that I can. There just are not enough words to express knowing that my family and friends are covering Jim and I with your prayers.
