Guest guest
Hi , As a former spinal cord injury nurse who worked with patients having supra-pubic catheters, you are better off without one, if at all possible. In addition to LDN, there are a number of other promising alternative MS treatments. For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/advice-to-msers In regard to both treating and avoiding UTI's, colloidal silver, D-Mannose, and cranberry juice are very good. This site discusses colloidal silver: http://tinyurl.com/colloidal-minerals This site features D-Mannose: http://tinyurl.com/2d2egt Do a search on cranberry juice and UTI's at http://www.google.com Best regards, Dudley Delany http://profiles.yahoo.com/dudley_delany

Guest guest
to all you guys that have kindly replied, my issue is not uti's that i appreciate can be treated with d-mannose and cranberry, because i am in a wheelchair and have a social life, it is the difficulty i have with the physical side of going to the toilet/emptying my bladder, in a wheelchair, wearing jeans, disbaled toilets are not suitable, you want to be independent and not rely on careers/partner a supra-pubic does greatly assist without the need to get out of your chair thanks again all your replies best regards/peter/ppms
Guest guest
I have recently taken this into consideration, particularly when I was in a setting that was not one that I am familiar with. Now that I'm home all is well but I can see where this would be liberating in public. > > to all you guys that have kindly replied, my issue is not uti's that i appreciate can be treated with d-mannose and cranberry, because i am in a wheelchair and have a social life, it is the difficulty i have with the physical side of going to the toilet/emptying my bladder,
Guest guest
, I just read your post with interest. I had this done in January. I agree, the best is that it is very liberating. The down side, which I wasn't told before the treatment was performed, was I would have to live with a catheter bag (either strapped to my leg for daytime or a night-bag attached for nighttime). I was told and was demostrated how a plug could be inserted into the end of the catheter and I would empty it by releasing the plug. Boy, was I wrong. When I left the hospital, the nurse started telling me about how to care for the bag, that was the " first " I had heard about that need. Now, three months later, I'm still unhappy about this situation. This is just FYI so you'll be better prepared than I was for this new need. Being unable to use my right hand makes it impossibe to do the required changing. I'm wishing you success. Edie ________________________________ To: mscured Sent: Wed, March 16, 2011 11:15:52 AM Subject: Re: Supra-Pubic  I have recently taken this into consideration, particularly when I was in a setting that was not one that I am familiar with. Guest guest
Thanks for the heads-up. I was curious about it but not eager to have it done. You have convinced me not to jump into it unless it ever became absolutely necessary. > > , I just read your post with interest. I had this done in January. I > agree, the best is that it is very liberating. The down side, which I wasn't > told before the treatment was performed, was I would have to live with a > catheter bag
