Guest guest
I have had it on and off since I was 18. I had my tonsils out in november and still have issues with the swollen glands. I was told by the specialist who took out my tonsils that it was part of my rheumatoid arthritis and from me smoking for so many years. at this point I have learned to live with it and when I do have a flare I pull out my bag of halls which relieves it some. [ ] Swollen glands in neck, anyone else have this problem, it comes and goes I have had swollen glands in my neck on and off for years now. My oncologist (breast cancer) that it is the rheumatoid. Makes sense I guess being autoimmune and all. Wondering if anyone else has this problem and when does it seem to start with you. Mine seems to start later in the day and usualy on my left side. I know it is not cancer because I have had clean scans and such in the past weeks. I did have cancer in my lymph nodes so I have to be careful. I think it is realated to the rheumatoid, if you have had similar symptoms please tell. I feel like I am loosing my mind with this new diagnosis and have not seen rheumy yet. It is overwhelming Thanks Shelby ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No viruses found in this incoming message Scanned by iolo AntiVirus 1.5.3.5 http://www.iolo.com _______________________________________ No viruses found in this outgoing message Scanned by iolo AntiVirus 1.5.3.5 http://www.iolo.com
Guest guest
Hi Shelby - you've certainly been through the wringer!! Has anyone ever checked you for Multiple Sclerosis? It is also an auto-immune disease and swollen glands are one of the many symptoms. Just a thought. Did your blood tests confirm RA or are you sero-negative? Keep us posted. I hope they can get to the bottom of all of this and you are feeling better soon.....Doreen I have had swollen glands in my neck on and off for years now.
