Hey, thanks to whomever suggested going back and looking at old

posts. I am doing that, but have filtered them to see only MY old

posts. Holy cow, it is SO interesting to see where I was almost two

years ago.

Here is the post I made the day before I started " doing " IE for real!

*****

A Partial List...

I LOVE New Year's Resolutions. Love them. But, this year's look a

little different. This is the first year in memory that I haven't

said, " THIS will be the year I lose the weight. "

Instead, here is what I have resolved, in this area.

In 2007 I will:

1) Recognize the diet mentality when it starts creeping in.

2) Listen kindly to that nasty inner voice that tells me I am fat.

She is a scared, angry little girl, and treating her with love is

the only way to calm her down.

3) Eat more vegetables, because I like them.

4) Honor my hunger and not procrastinate eating until I am ravenous.

5) Honor my fullness by stopping when I am less full than I am used

to feeling.

6) Exercise more often because I feel more energetic and stronger

when I do.

7) Practice seeing myself as beautiful.

8) Find other alternatives to eating when I am not hungry.

Last night, after the celebrations died down, I opened my IE book

and reviewed these. I've never really implemented some of these

principles, and I am excited to do it.

I think I feel a little hungry. Better go honor it!!

Happy New Year everyone. May 2007 be a wonderful year.

2007 was a HUGE year of personal transformation for me. (So is 2008,

by the way). It's so interesting to read this stuff. I can see the

seeds in my changes even back then. What blows me away is that I am

now doing every single one of these things effortlessly. I forgot I

even wrote this!

Wow. HOW COOL.
