Guest guest
Potassium iodide is getting harder to find. I got Now Potasssium Plus Iodine (from iodide) at Herbspro https://www.herbspro.com/shop/viewcart.asp?WantsBondField=false > > I imagine that you have all heard of the nuclear meltdown in Japan but what you may not know is that fall-out is expected to reach the US thursday or friday, depending on the weather. There are many things you can do, the best is to take potassium iodide to protect yourself from getting thyroid cancer. It's important that you steer clear of atomic iodine as it acts like a sponge and draws in radiation. Get it if you can. A good source is Iodoral. Other things that may help are: > > Reduced gluthathione > Q10 > Oregano Juice > Wild Chaga > red pine needle extract > Twin Labs Boron > shark liver oil > panthothenic acid > Vit. C (lots) > MSM > 'Hydrogen Boost' > Cell-food > astaxanthin > Unique E > Unique E tocotrienols > chlorella > DMG > R-lipoic acid > Episilk Q10 serum (rub on skin) > Vit. D > & more... > > > If you just want a few things...maybe in that order: > > > potassium iodide > reduced gluthathione 3 3x/day > panthothenic acid 500mg/day > C 2,000mg/day > astaxanthin 4mg/day > chlorella follow directions > cellfood 8drops/day > Boron 3mg/day > CoQ10/Ubiquinol 200mg/day > Modifilan > > >
Guest guest
Miso is also known to protect and detox from radiation. It was used to help people with radiation poisoning after Chernobyl Yvette. > > > I imagine that you have all heard of the nuclear meltdown in Japan but what > you may not know is that fall-out is expected to reach the US thursday or > friday, depending on the weather. Guest guest
yes, but Potassium iodide could be hard to find. And in an emergency, knowing all your options is important. And miso is sold almost everywhere. > > > So was Modifilan but potassium iodide is tops on the list. > > > > > > > Miso is also known to protect and detox from radiation. Guest guest
It is getting hard to find. It's sold out all over the net. I found it at Herbspro and I posted the link so you could get it too. The price is still low there but it has skyrocketed at other sites...if they had a at all! I put miso in the list that I sent. > > > > > > Miso is also known to protect and detox from radiation. Guest guest
fermented soy, yes. But fermented soy doens't pose the health concerns as non-fermented soy. Yvette > > > Isn't miso made from soy? > > >
Guest guest
> > Isn't miso made from soy? > Yeah, but there's debate as to whether fermentation alters the proteins enough to make them harmless (would include tempeh and natto along with miso). It may be ok, but I haven't tried it yet myself as I had a particularly bad reaction to soy after starting BBD. A nutritionist at FMC who was really on top of all this stuff rather than following mainstream dietary advice told me the same about Rejuvelac, which would be fermented rye. But I haven't tried it yet either! Crystal
