Guest guest
Has anybody tried a double dose of LDN Say 1 dose at 10pm and again next day 10am, to boost TLR The Toll-like receptors (TLR) are critical components of the pattern recognition system used by vertebrates to detect pathogen invasion and initiate immune responses. Guest guest
Agreed, an overdose of LDN could be 'life threatning'!
Guest guest
you might want to ask on the lowdosenaltrexone group. But I have a feeling they will tell you it is a bad idea as the LDN itself has no intrinsic therapeutic value. It is only the rebound effect and what your body does to itself in response after it wears off that gives it therapeutic properties. So if you take it twice a day, you have less rebound period so less therapeutic time.
Guest guest
I think that's a bad idea. Dr. Bahari suggested against using more than 4.5 mg LDN in any 24 hour period. In my opinion the best person to take your question to is Skip Lorenz (not sure I spelled that right). You can find him on the ldn users group and (I think) the ldn 4 cancer groups both on Yahoo. Dr Skip is a pharmacist in the US who compounds LDN. He's one of the most respected LDN experts in the country. Guest guest
you'd have to take a LOT of LDN to get to the " life threatening " stage. Naltrexone is prescribed in amounts of 50mg several times a day for people with addiction issues. But, for us, too much LDN could result in a healing set backs. Dr. Bahari gave patients up to 6mg for a short period of time for intense ms flares, but that was special and rare cases. In general, the max dose of LDN should be no higher than 4.5 mg every 24 hrs.
