Guest guest
Kim, I know how you feel. When I tell people my symptoms they think I am crazy, but it is very hard to explain to someone. I am getting the idea from the group that even after surgery the symptoms do not go away. I am seeing another dr on 1-8 but I am thinking if they don't go away why have the surgery. Welcome to the group from Dallas ---------- > > To: chiariegroups > Subject: Hello > Date: Sunday, December 31, 2000 5:36 PM > > Hello all. I am new to this group--hope I am doing this right. If not, please let me know. I am a newly diagnosed chiarian. I have an appointment with a doctor who I hope will finally help me. My last doctor said that even though my MRI showed Chiari, it was not the problem of any of my concerns. WHAT?!?!?! Anyway, hope this finds everyone ok and I am glad to have found other people who will not think I am crazy and/or a hypochondriac! Guest guest
Sorry to hear about your divorce, I truely hope that you find that someone right very soon! Hello Dear Group, Some of you may have noticed I havent posted in a while. I want to thank all of you for the christmas cards you sent me, they were very comforting. I wanted to tell all of you that I have filed for divorce. My marriage only lasted 5 months. So I dont think I will be getting my TR anytime soon. I want to keep recieving the digest and keep my hopes and prayers on this miracle happening to me one day. I am flat broke and spent all my savings on getting a new apartment and starting a new life ALONE. I know God has his plans for me and I dont what they are yet, but I still remain hopeful and to those of you that are age 43 and worrying, I just wanted to tell you that I am 41 and having to start all over again and find someone new. So please stay! Things may look bad but it can always get worse, (look at me). I am praying for all of you, and miss yall very much. Love, ~

Guest guest
Hi Patsy, welcome to a great group! Hello Hi to all I thought I had intro my self but did not see it come through. I am Patsy I live in Arkansas married 19 years. I have one son and three grandchildren. Fms I have had most of my life. The last year has been really bad not many good days. I also have other health issues. Looking for friendship and support and will return the same. Anything you would like to ask just ask. 1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. 3. To unsubscribe the e-mail is: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group-unsubscribe 4. Also, it is not uncommon for more than one member to be feeling bad at the same time when it comes to flares and b/c of that potentially take something another member says the wrong way. And that includes the things that one member may find funny (even if it's laughing at fibro itself) even though we who deal with illness whether one such as fibro or multiple illnesses try to keep a sense of humor. 5. Pls let's be gentle with each other, and if you are having a bad day pls let us know so that we can do our best to offer our support. Have a nice day everyone. Guest guest
Welcome to the group Patsy! You found a really great one. Everyone is friendly, nice and very helpful. It's ok to vent and questions are encouraged. When you have more time, tell more about yourself. Also include your name at the bottom of your note so we can address our responses to you. I have had fibro a long time, also. Even though I am old enough to be a grandmother, I don't have them since I couldn't have children. My 3 cats are our kids. Last year was rough for me and made my symptoms worse. I have OA, thyroid cancer, IBS, lactose intol, GERD, and other health problems. Looking forward to hearing more from you. warm hugs, Debbie J > > Hi to all > I thought I had intro my self but did not see it come through. > I am Patsy I live in Arkansas married 19 years. > I have one son and three grandchildren. > Fms I have had most of my life. Guest guest
Hello All, I am 44 years old, married, and father of 3 wonderful children (6,8,10). I have recently been diagnosed with ALS but continue to get tested in hopes that it might be something else. I want to take the bull by the horns and do whatever I can to extend life so I can see my children grow up and be the best husband possible for my wife. I am looking for anything you can offer. Any remedies, foods, recipes, etc that have worked for you or for others you have spoken to. I have been reading about foods on the internet but I don't know what some of them are. It seems like everything I eat have landed on the " Foods that Kill " list. Are the cleansing routines something you all do? Anything that you tell me will help. As I said earlier I have just been diagnosed so all I have is questions and I have no answers. I am on a road which is unfamiliar and I want to fight. Please help, Chris
Guest guest
You are not alone! My dad was diagnosed ALS some years ago. We continue to thank God for everyday that he breathes! DO NOT FEAR. Take heart, be comforted and fight hard. I would suggest 1st, finding the ALS association in your neighborhood. They will help you with gaining medical assistance and more. Secondly if you have amalgams - metal fillings in your teeth - have them removed and then find a really good detox program to get the metal toxidity out of your body. In my opinion that helps to sustain your life. Lastly, pray and believe that God will work in your favor. Im not sure where you live, but the Northwestern Hospital in Chicago has a great program through the ALS association. If you need anything further, let me know. Guest guest
I'm about to come up with that definition of CCSVI for you (hold fire). Metal detox - have all your amalgams removed. Chlorella is the big one for detoxing mercury; start slow, add cilantro latterly. For detoxing iron (what MS and ALS people often have on the brain), try milk thistle (silymarin) and IP-6, essentially rice bran. There are other more potent detoxes which I haven't done but I expect someone here will advise. Janet To: mscured From: CWITTECK@...
