Guest guest
Hello everyone, My name is MichaYah, I'm 37years old and I would like to ask everyone for their help regarding increasing circulation in my legs. This is what I have been going through recently and I've had MS for 21 years. My legs are feeling stiff with pins and needles sensation and at night before going to bed, my feet and ankles are ice cold. I plan on going to see my acupunturist tomorrow, but is their anything that I can do from home (i.e. eating certain foods, herbal supplements, etc.) Please, I really do need all of your help. Thank you so very much. Sincerely, MichaYah

Guest guest
Hi Micha Yah Taking Gingko Biloba, Witches Broom, Horse Chestnut etc will help. If you go to www.msrc.co.uk you'll find a list of relevant supplements which will aid circulation. I'd also look into the CCSVI procedure too. Your complaints are similar to what I had experienced before having the procedure and they are now gone. No more cold and red feet! Once you've had the procedure, they might put you on blood thinning drugs and you'll then need to limit the aforementioned supplements. Both Janet and myself have had the procedure and have given updates here, and I know she'll be only too happy to give advice RE: CCSVI and supplements. I'd also look into LDN too - you'll find plenty of information on it on the MSRC site listed above. 'What we do in life, echoes through eternity.' MARCUS AURELIUS (121 - 180 A.D.) Guest guest
you may want to try this for a few weeks and if it works ok and if not you will try other stuff. every morning before eating anything I warm up some water and put a pinch of cayenne , the juice of a 1/4 lemon and stir. water about 8 0z. it will help your organs and circulation. it might be worth a try. you could also try horse chestnut from a health store. ....Love is space and time measured by the heart. Guest guest
Hi MichaYah, Vitamin E is said to be good for circulation. Edgar Cayce recommended an electrotherapy device called the radial appliance which has been found beneficial in normalizing circulation. I use it myself for about forty-five minutes a day. For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/radial-appliance For additional helpful information about treating MS, visit http://tinyurl.com/advice-to-msers All the best, Dudley Delany http://profiles.yahoo.com/dudley_delany
Guest guest
Buy an electric foot warmer that you can plug in under the desk. I had the CCSVI procedure and whilst it has alleviated the majority of my symptoms, I am still in a wheelchair and I still have cold feet. Since I am on blood thinning drugs I am not taking many of my preferred supplements at the moment which have helped my blocks of ice in the past (Butcher's broom (ruscus aculeatus), dandelion, fish oil, gingko biloba, gotu kola (centella asiatica), grape seed extract, hawthorn extract, hesperidin , horse chestnut, krill oil, Omega 3, prickly ash, pycnogenol, serrapeptase, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K, zinc.) Most of these thin the blood thus aiding circulation. CST (cranio-sacral therapy) and foot reflexology have helped but not got rid of the problem. A warm foot bath with essential oils. A mini electric walker/cycle. I will be very interested to hear how you do with acupuncture - that is my next approach. I am sure there is a blockage somewhere and as CCSVI treatment didn't find that one, maybe acupuncture will. Janet To: mscured From: rachael.m.thomas@... Guest guest
Plaquex is the most effective natural therapy for restoring circulation and the health of the venous system and the whole body for that matter. Think about it, what does CCSVI do ? It restores circulation, by physically opening up the venous system. plaquex dissolves and removes plaque from arteries and opens up the arteries restoring circulation, better than chelation. In heart disease, you have blockages and they go in and use angioplasty to open them up. This is essentially what CCSVI is doing. Doctors that use natural therapy rather than surgery are using plaquex therapy to open up blockages for those with heart disease. IV plaquex is the closest thing to the effects you get from CCSVI It certainly is safer and cheaper. You mention side effects, but what are the side effects of CCSVI ? there is a long list and one of them is death. If you read about this therapy, it is probably one of the most therapeutic things you can do for your body. You dont get those health benefits from CCSVI. Guest guest
I haven't read their blurb in detail - how " natural " is it? I am very against anything Big Pharma. What are the side effects from CCSVI, apart from the side effects from any invasive (although minimally) treatment? There have been no problems in CCSVI in people who have not opted for stents. Guest guest
What helps me is no dairy as well! I also take 4-Pyridinamine, from a compounding RX, you will need a Dr's script, be careful as it doesn't work for everyone, but it helps me somewhat. Guest guest
Indeed, when it comes to taking conventional medications or inquiring about medical procedures, one must always do their research. > > never, ever use something just because someone mentions it. > > I researched this stuff for years before doing it, you should > do your own research > > you have google, use it > > http://lmgtfy.com/?q=plaquex > > >
Guest guest
Thank you Rosye, I do the same. I monitor my eating habits by eating lots of vegetables, fruits, drinking water, grains, seeds, etc. No red meat, dairy, anything that contains white flour, sugar, salt, pork, shrimp-this has worked for me for some time. It sounds like it might suit you and might aid you in battling the MonSter!! A good place to go to look further into it is www.mrc.co.uk or www.direct-ms.org Both sites will give you a good intro to the diet.
