Guest guest
Hi Tammy, Welcome to the list. I'll be 38 in Sept too, on the 14th. I was actually diagnosed with FMS in 1997, but I had the symptoms since the early 80s and had absolutely no idea what was happening to me. My doctors are not doing one thing to treat my FMS, they told me the only thing to do is lose weight, get the proper rest, do some stretching exercises and walk. I finally complained so much about the swelling in my feet and legs and pain in them, my shoulders, back of my neck and wrists, that my primary care physician is sending me to the Arthritis Clinic on Aug 24th. I hope they will at least *try* to do something. Please don't worry about 'boring' us...they've been listening to me for a few months now and haven't kicked me out yet. hahahaha. *smile* Gentle Hugs, Jacqui Hi >My name is Tammy, I'll be 38 in September. Guest guest
Hello Charlie, My name is and I am 22 yo and co-moderator of this group. I have been bad and havn't introduced myself to all the newbies so here I am. I live in Ontario, Canada with my husband and dog. My mother, is also on this list. We are glad to have you here. I have not heard of any connections between dyspraxia and Fibro however I have never known anyone to have both. May I ask what dyspraxia is? Thanks for introducing yourself. Guest guest
Hi Tammy and welcome to the list.. I spent numerous years going thru doctor to doctor, getting every medical test imaginable, and finally was diagnosed about 3 years ago with fibro/myofacial pain complex.. For me it was a little bit of relief to finally get a diagnosis.. Again, welcome to the list, I just signed up about a week ago and everyone here is extremlely helpful, very friendly, and very supportive..
