Guest guest
Hi all,This is not advertising forum so why are we getting this kind of messages (Licensed Massage Therapist). When there was a message regarding M.F Hussain then there was protest from many people. Why people are silent regarding this???? Guest guest
I am also against this advertising. Also, if you like someone's message could you please send message for appreciation or thanks to their personal email address rather then to whole group which waste lots of time of all group members. Many thanks, Vikas massage Hello, I am a Licensed Massage Therapist. Guest guest
I used to get massage and it was wonderful, especially right after acupuncture. Workers Comp stopped paying for it and then I got the stimulator...I'm thinking massage with a stimulator might be more tricky. Dr said I could try it but the must stay away from the incision sites which is where stuff is actually placed. I haven't tried it yet and my sister is a trained massage therapist...I'm a big chicken cause I love my stimulator! Some people think you have to feel the pain to get the gain. I don't believe in that therapy. But a good firm massage is awesome. Guest guest
Fully understandable Deanne. If it's your sister, work with her. But go out about 4inches from the stimulator and work in a upside down triabgle patterm so your coming slowly back into the back muscles. You'll know. But definately get the feet done!!.Reflexology can really help too. Hey, I'm up for any form of relaxation!! lol
Guest guest
I go for reflexology. That's where they massage your trigger points in your feet and legs. I feel wonderful after. Dr. said I have to be careful with massages. Person has to really know what they are doing since I have 3 implants. If they aren't careful, they could dislodge leads from spine. With the reflexology, I get the benefits of a massage, but don't have to worry about the implants. And for your individual situation/needs that's fine. Therefore, as long as you don't overdo it, that should work in your favor. However, for Steph's particular situation, massage of that sort may not be his best route at present, in light of his explanation of his concerns. Nonetheless, your experience and suggestion is appreciated and never be afraid to contribute. Guest guest
I just found out I have a massage school near me that's based out of my local hospital. The rates they charge are alot less than any spa I could go to. I was considering giving it a try as I have heard that massage could be a good thing for our condition. Right now they are offering Swedish massages for $29 an hour. Has anyone tried a massage for their RA and if so what type? I have never had one done and was curious if there is a special kind for our condition or anything I should avoid that might make me worse not better. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
