Guest guest
I just wanted to note that we all have different reactions to medications. Some have problems with methotrexate pills, I don't. Many here hail Lyrica, it made me gain five pounds in one day and feel very sick and extremely tired. I have been on plaquenil for 12 years with no problems, others can't tolerate it or get problems way before 12 years. Let's remember that we all have different body chemistries and what works for one, harms another. Don't be afraid t try a medicine because it may be the perfect choice for you. Since I have asthma, I didn't want to try methotrexate for many years. Finally last summer, while living in an area I never had asthma problems (an island at the seashore), and with my doctor's strong recommendations, I tried it. I have frequentl blood tests and my doctors warn me to call them when I get sick, but so far, so good. Although I moved to a very cold area with dampness, I still am much more able to move my joints than I could in warm Florida before I took the MTX. I only occasionally feel a touch queasy on the morning after my pills and usually I don't feel anything. Other pills that others take would make me fell muh more queasy. in a mid-Atlantic forest mchristinad@...
