Hi Robin, I'm sorry that you're so stressed. Its frustrating when you're

working with a group and they don't fulfill their part. Hang in

there...it'll get done and the kids will have a great new playground. The

administrator at my kids school said that 30% of the people do 90% of the

work. Just think, your kids will be proud to have a mom that helps out.

I have to share this off the wall thought. I am so glad that you are on

earthlink, because everytime i scan down the list i see, " farout earthlings "

and I think I'm being invaded by cute little martians who are stuck in the

60's. It always gives me a little chuckle.

Hang in there...sending happy thoughts and warm wishes... W

Sorry tol hear that your stressed out.

Have you considered increasing your Vitiman B12

intake. It works wonders for STRESS.

also take a deep breath. THe world will not end if

things aren't done on time.. THat's just part of

life. If I were you, I would take a step back and

look at the larger picture. Sure the playground may

not get done on time, but at least the children are

getting a playground. They might need to wait an

extra week or two..

Pokie thank you also for replying with empathy. I gave a list of things

to the principal, so she'd be knowledgeable about everything (she hadn't

been so far) and she just called me to tell me that I must think she's

incompetent! So now I have offended her! I assured her I meant no such

thing. I didn't even have to tell her, but let her find out on her own

and she WOULD look incopetent. That really hurt my feelings, because

I've done so much work and we just found out we are getting an

additional $10,000 due to my efforts (writing a winning grant of $25k

and an additional $55k for the playground), and, well I'm just having a

pity party today. Must be that time of the month. Sorry this is so

off topic. I really did need some warm fuzzies, though. Thanks.

Robin,

Hang in there, it will work out eventually. (I hope.) I think you could use this right now.......

((((((((((((((((((((ROBIN))))))))))))))))))))

Chin up, it will be over soon. And continue to vent if it helps. Everyone needs to let off steam sooner or later. (Too bad it can't be at the people that are making all the mistakes.) I guess we are just tooooooo nice to ruffle any feathers right now. Can't wait till that changes with our new self confidence.
