Guest guest
Hi everyone. I have been remiss in responding to each of you personally, but I wanted to offer my sincere thanks for your kind words to me both on the list serve and in private messages. The night I lost the baby I couldn't sleep and was up with my i-phone and was overwhelmed by so many thoughtful notes. My parents hadn't even reached out to me, even though my husband called them from the recovery room, but so many of you, despite your own discomfort and struggles in your own lives, didn't hesitate to offer me condolences. I am back to work this week and still very sad, but hanging in there. We had only planned on our two boys and this baby was a happy surprise. After we heard the heartbeat, my husband went ahead with his plans for a vas, so unless we move heaven and earth with the infertility service, this will be our last pregnancy. It's hard to end our family building years on a sad note, but since I'll be turning 39 in September and this was my second loss, it's probably wise to be grateful for the terrific boys with whom we are blessed. Sorry to ramble, I'm still pretty scattered, but I did want to say how much I appreciate your unflagging support through this, and other struggles. You are each generous, special people, and I am very lucky to have you in my life. Hugs, Kate F
Guest guest
(((Kate))) Hang in there, honey. Perhaps this was God's way of saying that your health needs to be a top priority (along with your hubby & boys, of course). With two strapping boys to raise, I think you will have wonderful support, love and strength beside you always. Boys are very loyal to their mothers. Love & Hugs..... Doreen Hi everyone. Raniolo From: Clora <clora4jesus@...> Subject: [ ] ot: thank you Date: Wednesday, June 16, 2010, 6:17 PM  Barbara, Kate and Group  I was so sad for you kate. I am so glad you have 2 boys to love and hold. You are in my prayers.. I just came back to the group when I read that you had a miscarriage. And Barbara you must of been beside yourself when your daughter got pregnant and knew she was risking her life. I a so sorry. Like you said we have our children and give them all the love we can.  I never wanted any babies. I was the oldest girl out of 10 kids. I had 3 older brothers. It's not the work taking care of them. It was watching my mom when one of us got sick or was put in the hospital. I could hardly take it myself when my baby sister went into the hospital from pneumonia. She got to come home Christmas eve. . I was blessed with 5 kids lol. Three wasn't mine but from another family member. My family called me fertile Mertyle lol. . I had 2 more pregnancy's but had miscarriages.  It seems like the people that want kids , cant and the opposite for those who don't want babies. My daughter is 39 and wanted a baby in the worst way and never had any children . My other daughter didn't want kids and had 2. Which she loves and adores.  God bless  Clora  ---.............................................................................\ ............................... Date: Wednesday, June 16, 2010, 4:12 PM Hi Kate. You write such a beautiful letter. I feel your loss. Sometimes we are lucky to have healthy children. Infertitlity is hard and and can be heartbreaking too. My daughter did and tried everything to have a baby. She went to the best of the best in Boston. She lost 2 babies, and then they almost lost her on the table. I was so fearful she would lose her life. They did in-vitro and no luck. They stopped all fertility and figured they would be childless. Then, out of the blue she got pregnant, and started to see a high risk Dr. 3 1/2 months into the preg. they found out she was having identical triplets. We were over the moon. On her next visit, the Dr. discovered that the babies had died. We were so grief stricken. Months later they tried in-vitro again, and it worked!..They had a perfect, healthy baby girl. My daughter was 39. Then, another miracle, 3 months later she was pregnant again. Another miracle baby girl, born almost to the day that the first baby turned 1. They wanted a boy, but the Dr. said, no more children. My daughter almost lost her life having the second baby. She was 40, deeply sadened for no more children. But they are so thankful for 2 healthy, baby girls. What she went through when she lost the triplets was terrible. God was great and gave her 2 miracle babies. Our " little angels " are in heaven and will never be fogotten. Time does heal us but we don't think so at the time. My thoughts and prayers still with you, your husband and your 2 beautiful boys. God Bless you Kate and your family. I think of you often. I am glad that you know how much your are loved here, and how much we all care about you.  Hugs and love,  Barbara
