Guest guest
Thank you for the warm welcome, and the advice and info that this diet will help heal/cure/improve my rosacea and cataracts. It is the info I have been looking for! I always knew in my heart that I could be healed, I just never got what I was looking for thru the medical community. I will be buying coconut oil promptly. Looking forward to good results, internal and external! One question: I drink 2 cups of green tea daily. Is this ok & acceptable on this candida diet??? Guest guest
Hi Janet, Do you happen to know Donna Borbolla? (yeah like Arizona is the size of Rhode Island right?) She's on another list that I am on. We met for the first time about 9 years ago at a hospital in Miami where both our girls were having open heart surgery. I found her again on the other llistserv and she had moved to Az and raves about how great the services and the education and the medical treatment is out there for our kids. That must all be your doing right? :-) Welcome Sherry mom to DS/Autism

Guest guest
Otti, welcome to the group. Are you having problems with eating again? If so have you discussed this with the doctor who did your surgery? Please tell us where you are or at least what part of the country you live in. Where you were treated and the name of your doctor would be helpful. There is a lot of information here and we look forward to sharing it with you. Guest guest
Hi, Thank you for getting back to me so soon. Yes, I am having problems eating again. I was doing extremely well for 5 years after the surgery but it seems to have closed up again. I just recently had another balloon dilation but haven't experienced much relief from it. I am currently out of the country but am going to see my doctor when I return next week. I live in New Jersey at the moment. My doctor is Dr. Saul Agus in New York City. I am currently on a liquid/pureed diet and getting really bored. I eat ice cream every night. Eggs have to be strained. I have good days and bad days. I look forward to hearing about your experiences. Otti --- LunaIam2@... wrote: > Otti, welcome to the group. Are you having problems > with > eating again? Guest guest
Dear Otti, There are different levels of dilatations you can have and it sounds as if the one you were given was not sufficient to improve your eating abilities. You are right to return and report the lack of improvement and it is my guess that the procedure may have to be repeated. Presumably you will have been checked for other things that could be causing this and therefore it is probably just a lack of room for the food to get down. I hope it can be soon sorted for you. Welcome to our group. > been feeling ill for years (only 31!) and have been on candida diet (first 4 weeks great was so strict and allergist said i was dong well and really clearing it up) but have cheated a little over xmas.. ==>Do be sure to re-check your diet and program against what I recommend because the diet is very different than others that are recommended, which you will understand if you read the article emailed to you when you joined " How to Successfully Overcome Candida " - is is also in our files (left menu) and it is on my new website - see the address posted below. > i mostly suffer pains around my body but had always been a bit yeasty and itchy for years down below.,it would come and go.. > well for a few weeks now the itchy soreness got worse, where i just had to scratch but was so red and made myself bleed a tiny bit.. > i have got it a bit under control with a pessary and cream, but last night felt it all coming back.. can this flare up be a symptom of die off or is that a stupid thing to say? as surely the less yeast in body the better it should be down below or does it have to come out somewhere? anyway you r thought would be appreciated. ==>When Candida is either overgrowing or it is being killed off it puts out toxins which do have to come out somewhere. Your itching is a definite symptom of die-off; die-off includes detoxifying and healing symptoms. It's not that you'll have less yeast, it's that you have less yeast that overgrowing. Yeast is supposed to be in the body all the time, but it's not supposed to be overgrowing. > i am back on track a bit more and was not that bad over xmas but do have the odd vodka as i like to go out and have fun and don't want to turn into a misery guts! ==>You'd be wise not to have the od vodka until you can overcome this nasty beast my dear. Candida isn't something you want to mess with - see Candida & the Cancer connection articles. The best in health, Bee

I found the group once before but didn't stay on as I apparently wasn't serious about losing this 100 pound extra person I carry around every day. I am beginning a program called first place it is an exchange based program and I have lost 10 pounds so far. Mostly from moving and not eating out. I am also a fly baby and a scrapbooker. I look forward to getting to know you all more. Robin :-) Robin :-)

Guest guest
Hi Robin!! Welcome back to the group. I'm Kim, homeschool-mom to two boys (9 & 10yr), married almost 20 yrs, living in Texas just outside of Dallas. I started on my health-journey at the end of February and am down about 15 lbs (I don't weigh myself too often). I walk, bike, and do yoga for exercise. I am currently eating only lean meats, beans and lots of veggies. I've " cheated " by eating a total of five flour tortillas over the last 3+ weeks (not all at the same time though). I have about 115 lbs still to lose and I'm bound & determined to do it. So glad you've joined the group! warmly, Kim On 3/20/07, Robin Calhoun <croppinrobin711@...> wrote: > > Hi, > I am new to the group. Guest guest
Hi Kim, I wanted to homeschool my boys but never had the guts. They have now surpassed anything that I could have taught them. My oldest and I would have bashed heads all the time. My youngest and I would have done great but it wouldn't have been fair to the oldest who wanted to be home-schooled. I just met a gal who moved here from Texas. Not sure what part. Great job on the 15 pounds. I haven't dove into my program as much as I would like to. I know I need to do a food plan so I would stick to it and pay attention to what I am eating. We are eating out tonight But I plan on getting right back on the wagon. I have been doing a light weight exercise by Cosmo that I was able to do back when I was pregnant with my boys. I figured if I look pregnant I could still do it. LOL I hope to advance to my Tae Bo and other more energy tapes. I also have a treadmill but really get tired of it. I may set up a combo of ideas so I am always being challenged. Guest guest
a, welcome; the candida AND the diabetes probably have the SAME cause in common. Guest guest
Duncan, I've got Low Blood Sugar and Candida. It all started after 4 & 1/2 years of antibiotics use for acne. Is this the sort of thing you're referencing when you say Candida and Diabetes probably have the same cause? I never had any health issues until I began the antibiotics. Since then, I've developed food allergies, chemical sensitivities, blood sugar imbalances, candida, etc... I've often thought that the distuption of my internal digestive/assimilation system (via antibiotics) has precipitated the majority of my health troubles. Is this correct? > > > > My name is a and i live in BC Canada, i get yeast infections > > alot and my diabetes causes it > > >
Guest guest
I think yes, the antibiotic probably caused the candida, and also just maybe the (autoimmune?) diabetes. Some toxins are known to be a direct cause of diabetes, arsenic for example, and others, antibiotics for example, have been known to promote someone into an autoimmune " disease " . I've got a protocol for autoimmunes based on my success and similar successes of some colleagues. But, I was really thinking about the carbs tha most people have to eat for a couple of decades to get diabetes and candida the ol' fashined way.
