Guest guest
Yes, very. This is why my brother hired a pilot and plane. Dad could never have made it on Southwestern. However, after an hour with the doctor, we knew we had brought him to the right place. Dr. O'Suilleabhain is a movement disorder neurologist. He also teaches at Southwestern Medical School. He is from Dublin, Ireland and fellowed in movement disorders at the Mayo. He is in research, and so he did not just throw out a diagnosis. But, we feel, after another week or so, that he might be ready to make one. He did say it is not a spinal thing. We had had trouble with MRIs before (Dad has Harrington rods in back and they make things fussy sometimes). I think he had CAT again too. I may have mentioned to someone (maybe Bill) that after it took five of us to get Dad on plane coming back, after they got up in the air, the door on my brother's side flew open. They, of course, had to come back down to fix the door. This, could have been a tragedy. So, I guess things could always be worse.
