Guest guest
I have progressive ms for the last 6 years, im 24 years old. I am at a stage now where i can walk for a very short period (5 seconds) before needing to rest. I tend to limp, drag my left foot sometimes , and walk unsteady/unbalanced. I read about the Gaitaid virtual walker about 4-6 weeks ago and decided to try it out. I have had the virtual walker for 3 weeks now. This is my initial impression of the device. When wearing the device, i walk NORMALLY, do not limp, dont lose balance, although my left leg (the more affected side) does fatigue quickly, which can eventually result in limping. In these 3 weeks my walking has improved, however this is only inside with no shoes on, as at the moment find it hard to walk in trainers/shoes compared to bare feet/socks. I will report back in a month or so , with any results/improvements. I read
