Although yes I agree there is a ton of reading involved and to look at direct-ms

or msrc's websites,

so you can get started right away,

the basic NOs are:

NO gluten (wheat, barley, oats, rye)

NO dairy, whether it is from a cow, sheep, goat or yak, etc. (milk, cheese,

yoghurt, cream, etc.)

NO legumes (peanuts, soy, peas, beans, pulses, i.e. dried

peas/beans/lentils/chickpeas, etc.)

Preferrably NO tomatoes or egg white either but some people are relaxed on this.

I just didn't want you to be put off or to not start the diet until you had read

the mountains of information.

Eliminate one of these food groups and as soon as you have grasped that, go on

to another one.

The websites above will tell you the reasoning behind the diet and why it helps

us.

The ELISA will show you if you have food allergies beyond those that the BBD

eliminates.

I have had PPMS myself for 15 years and am in a wheelchair too. Since starting

the BBD 4 years ago (and now also having been treated for CCSVI) things are

really looking up.

Good luck

Janet

I'm afraid there's a ton of reading involved in order to

grasp this, so go to www.direct-ms.org. See ya in a couple of months.
