Guest guest
Re gluthatione for chelation, my understanding is it has to be given IV to work, and that oral gluthatione is useless. I don't know if that's true, just something I read. > > Chorlella pulls Mercury out of your cells but it is reabsorbed by the > gut. It does not remove it from the body. Guest guest
Glutathione supplements are hard for the body to process. That is why I take Glutathione, Csteine and C from Life Extention. N-acytel- cysteine will be converted by the body to gluthione. I take both. I would never rely on glutathione only for chelation. However, studies show MS patients are difficient in Glutathione...Lydia PS - Have people forgotten how to trim their posts?
Guest guest
Hi all, Lydia wrote that: > >> > Chorlella pulls Mercury out of your cells but it is reabsorbed by the > > gut. It does not remove it from the body. For me (), this is the first time I have heard that chlorella pulls mercury out of the cells but not out of the body. This concerns me as I sometimes take chlorella alone. I cannot tolerate DMSA or DMPS...I know chlorella is not recommended by all (such as Cutler who does not recommend it). But my particular concern is whether chlorella simply redistributes mercury. If so, I obviously would not want to take it alone. Can anyone else provide input, info, or resources that would shed further light on whether taking chlorella alone could do more harm than good? Thanks,

Yeah, from all of my reading, this is incorrect. Chlorella only binds mercury that is available. It's an algae that does " clean-up " work and is a food so quantity of intake is not an issue. Cilantro, OTOH, can enable movement of mercury by making cell membranes more porous. Therefore, it's cilantro (not chlorella) which should not be taken alone as it could allow mercury to move out of the cells and resettle somewhere else. You need to take a binder with it. I believe MSM and garlic are supposed to be good too, by building up sulfur stores. I have gone off and on with chlorella, currently on, and have been told to take it daily for at least 3 months before trying cilantro - still not sure if I'm gonna go there.
