Emerson St., > Englewood, CO 80110. This group has many patients with ShyDrager/MSA. Wonder if there is anyone on the list now that would write to us about the meetings in Englewood Co. in Oct. We have two sons there that I sent the message onto and they would like to try to attend the meeting so they can learn more about what (their father) has and is dealing with. They have not seen us since he was dx'd in 98/99 and we have been sending them as much info as we can. We are also planning a trip out there...sometime soon I keep hoping to see them..and maybe we would be there on one of the Friday meetings you have. Anyway, please answer on the list or privately to us. Thanks, and Hanson

Guest guest
Greetings to & Hanson! The Denver MSA/SDS group meets on the 2nd Friday of each month, 10:00AM - 12:00 Noon, at the Adult Day Center, 3444 S. Emerson St. (near Swedish Hospital). The facility is WC accessible -- just check at the desk and ask to be directed to our meeting. We would be pleased to have your sons join us for a meeting. Several children of our members have met with us, and we appreciate their interest. Certainly, if you are in the area, it would be a treat for us to meet you, as well. Our meetings are quite informal, and we always make sure there are beverages and goodies. Occasionally we have special guests as presenters, but just as often we use our time together to compare notes, share helpful info on meds and caregiving tips, etc. Sometimes we split into separate caregiver and patient groups for part of the meeting. It's a congenial group, and none of us likes to miss a meeting! The Parkinson's office in Denver offered help in getting us started two years ago, and continue to meet with us. There long experience in operating support groups was helpful to us. If there are others who think they might be interested, or if you have any questions, do feel free to contact me. Hoping to meet the Hansons! Grace Halmi in Denver
