Guest guest
Thanks PJ, Witch Hazel and aloe are good additions. There is a US patent on the use of grapefruit skins and seeds as an antiviral for HIV. I have some drying now to see what else it might work on. Guest guest
, a couple of years ago when Dr. on in Alternative Health Newsletter wrote about it and in other news, it stated it is also good to put in the drinking water of Honey bees and chickens, hogs and etc. Bees nationwide have a suffocating viral infection that has wiped out whole colonies of them. The grapefruit extract kills that virus. I gave my Honey source copies of the articles. They said the Ag.Dept has the keepers using Tetracylene antibiotic in the water. This, in my opionion, mutates baceria and virisus and compounds the problem. It is a little bitter but is much safer than antibiotics as a rotational preveative. Guest guest
I've discovered that after detoxing, fasting, colonics, enemas, Dr. Schulze, years of mostly raw organic food, exercise helps, etc. both bowel movements and body odor is almost nil. Just a quick extra wash in hot times does the trick. However, until then, yes is there something safe and effective? I used a little lemon at times. Baking soda, just read some email about it having problems. What about Corn starch? VGammill wrote: > > ~ > > > > Thank you. I'll pitch my rocks. Guest guest
hopefully someone has an answer..... In the past few years I have developed adverse reactions from ALL deodorants. I include the hypersensitive ones. In this sweltering August heat, are there any suggestions.
Guest guest
Hi : My Aunt always used rubbing alcohol as she could not use any deodorants. Have you ever tried Gold Bond powder? I can't think of anything else. Hope you find something you can use. Guest guest
Hi - I saw on Oprah one day that doesn't use deodorant at all. Apparently, she just washes frequently and has never had a problem with odor - though I don't know how that could be possible. Check with your doctor - there are injections to the armpits that can stop the sweat glands from working. Best of luck to you.....Doreen > > hopefully someone has an answer..... > > In the past few years I have developed adverse reactions from ALL > deodorants. Guest guest
My suggestion is to stay inside in the air conditioning, LOL. On a more serious note, I seem to be allergic to some ingredient in perfume, deodorants, etc. So I just stopped using these products. I seem to do fine and don't smell bad as a result. Guest guest
Thanks... I never thought about eliminating the fragrance. I will give it a try. Raniolo From: pawsitivepuppy <pawsitivepuppy@...> Subject: [ ] Re: deodorant Date: Monday, August 10, 2009, 10:30 AM There are some natural deodorants that do not have fragance. Fragrances can be irritating if you are sensitive. The natural deodorants dont all work as well as the heavy duty ones from the drugstore, but they are better than nothing. Spot washing frequently is very helpful. Dont get those injections to your armpits. Not being able to sweat is very painful, because your skin overheats. Guest guest
The only deodorant I can use is Dove for Sensitive Skin. Others that have been suggested are Tom's of Maine and another one that was super expensive and only available at a local health food store. I have been using the Dove for Sensitive Skin for several years now with no problems. I probably now jimxed myself! hee hee *~ Kami ~* [ ] deodorant hopefully someone has an answer..... Guest guest
I use an Addias one that uses " cotton technology " whatever that is, to block odor. It doesn't absorb sweat, but I'm so sweaty I defeat anything (sexy, I know!) so I figured I might as well use something that didn't ruin my white tops. Guest guest
Hi , I have the same problem. I use Tom's of Maine unscented and it works really well -- no breakouts, no after shaving bumps and it works despite the 99 degree temps here in VA. Guest guest
Thank you. I have a nice sopping list. I will try them one per week. Te rash usually starts day 3 or 4. This problem started with the RA. Guest guest
Remember to shave at night, that way you're not putting a product right on tender skin. As a redhead, that's helpful for me. Guest guest
I don't know what it is but a salesman used a pill or something like that that gave him a smell all over like lilacs or similar. I remember others in the old days that did the same, but don't know what it's all about. Guest guest
Thanks but I gave up shaving a few years ago due to major skin irritations. I am a blonde and almost hairless fortunately. However my head hair is quite thick. Interestingly my hair had a slight wave all my life and is now extremely curly..... This entire change to our systems post RA mystifies me... Guest guest
I use the deodorant stone and it works perfectly. You just need to know that you have to rub for a minute or two for something to occur. From: FraidyCat <fraidycat@...>Subject: Re: deodorantcures for cancer Date: Monday, June 4, 2012, 7:14 PM I've been making my own deodorant since my cancer dx in '99. I sometimes buy Weleda's sage or citrus deodorant, but I mostly make my own using the same ingredients as they use. The difference in alcohol is that I use grain alcohol. Works great...even in Florida. Judi
